Method 1: How to Install Updates in Microsoft Office 2016?
Open any Office 2016 app, Like Word,
Create a new document.
Go to File > Account.
Under Product Information, choose Update Options > Update Now.
Close the “You’re up to date!” window after Office is done checking for and installing updates.
Method 2: How to Install Updates in Microsoft Office 2016?
Sometimes, the Update Option is missing & only About option is available.
In this case you need to try Microsoft Update or contact your company help desk.

If you would like to update Office but can’t open any of your Office apps, try repairing your Office suite:
- Go to Control Panel > Programs > Uninstall a program.
