How to Filter Junk Email and Spam in Outlook.com

 

Outlook is a useful application which comes with too many features.

One of the best feature is outlook is that you can set Microsoft Outlook to automatically move messages identified as spam to the Junk Email folder.

Any malware—potentially malicious software or code—is disabled.

There are two versions available.

  1. Outlook.com Beta
  2. Classic Outlook.com

Troubleshooting Steps for the Outlook.com Beta

 

Report Junk Email:

 

If you think you’ve received a phishing or spoofing scam

You need to mark the email as junk.

then mark it as a phishing scam.

 

Select the message you want to mark as junk email.

Select Junk on the command bar.

You can also right-click the message and select Mark as Junk.

Block Senders from Sending you Email:

 

Go to Blocked senders.

Enter the email address or domain that you want to block and select The Add icon .

Select Save.

To unblock a sender or email address, select the item in the list and then select The Edit icon or The Delete icon .
